The Challenge
An internationally renowned film festival with a vulnerable digital presence that did not reflect its cultural importance or meet its audience's needs.
Behind the scenes: a digital crisis
The Icaro International Film Festival faced a critical situation with its digital platform. Years of film archives and historical data were at risk due to recurring problems with their web infrastructure. WordPress-based solutions had reached their limits, preventing the implementation of innovative functionalities that the festival needed to continue growing. The lack of consistent technical support left the organizing team vulnerable during crucial moments of the event, when the influx of participants and digital visitors reached its peak. This technological fragility compromised not only the user experience but also the festival's credibility in the international panorama.
Our Solution
We developed a flexible platform in NextJS that combines attractive visual experiences with the security and scalability necessary for a cultural event of this magnitude.
A new digital act. We completely reimagined the Icaro Festival's digital presence with a NextJS implementation that balances attractive design and superior technical performance. We created intuitive interfaces that reflect the festival's visual richness while ensuring a smooth experience for international users. Our team became a permanent ally, providing personalized support in each phase of the launch and throughout the event. This collaborative approach has allowed the festival to grow digitally year after year, implementing new functionalities that improve the experience for attendees, participants, and filmmakers. With systematic backups and a scalable architecture, we have ensured that the festival's valuable film heritage remains preserved, while the platform evolves to meet the changing needs of its global community.
